October Belt Loop: October 9, 2009 (Optional)

Order Bobcat Badges: October 14, 2009
I will need to submit our Achievement Report on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 to get the Bobcat Badges ordered. After you have completed the requirements, please e-mail Matt Lawson and Dan Betts so we can update the Achievement Sheet on the Den 11 Website. I will also be calling parents to check in and see how everyone is doing a just ahead of the deadline.

Fall Family Camping: October 16-18, 2009
Scouts and families can start arriving after 4:00 PM at the Bert Adams Scout Reservation South of Covington, GA. With getting out of work and Atlanta Traffic, most families will probably not arrive until later. There will be a host/information person at the gate when you arrive to Bert Adams to direct you to your Packs camp site. It looks like this will be a really big camping event involving all the Packs from the Foothills Council. Last year, I believe, there were 25 Packs. More info on the Camping Trip to come…

October Den Meeting
We will also hold our October Den Meeting at the campout. It will be less formal and Jack Hunter and family will lead a couple activities as space fillers during the outing.

Pack Meeting: October 20, 2009
Looks like the Pack is planning a big awards ceremony for all the Tiger Dens to receive their Bobcat Badges. It will be a photo opportunity.

Marietta Journal Constitution: Wednesday, October 28, 2009.
Andrew Lawson and family will lead the Den to visit the media outlet. Matt Lawson will send out more information as the date gets nearer.

October Go-See-It
Jack Hunter and family are planning the October Go See it for the first part of November. Still working on a confirmed date.

November Belt Loop Activity: Friday, November 6, 2009

November Den Meeting
The November Den Meeting will be hosted by Matthew Grashen and family the first part of November. Still working on a confirmed date.



Future Den 11 Meetings
Going Forward I would like to then schedule the Den 11 Meetings on the First Tuesday of each month. That will give us time then to plan the Go-See-It and update our Achievement Report ahead of the Pack Meeting. If it is your month to do the planning and you have a need to change the date, we can still do that.
