Ice Cream Party

Thanks Lisa Baraji for the great Ice Cream Party. We had all the fixins; worms, Oreo Cookies, M & M's, Cherry's, Sprinkles, Chocolate Syrup, Carmel Syrup, Strawberry Syrup. Looks like someone tried everything on their ice cream!

Pack 471 helps out at Habit Day for Garrison Mill Elementary School.

March Den 11 Meeting

Lisa Baraji has offered to host an ice cream party to recognize all the hard work done by Den 11 for the Blue and Gold Banquet.

We will met on Sunday, March 28, 2010 at 4:00 PM at Garrison Mill Elementary School at the Covered Playground.

We will run around like crazy, eat ice cream, work on building our rocket, and share achievements - Belt Loops and Electives that the scouts have been working on.

Please let me know if you cannot make it.

Pack Meeting Tonight

Due to circumstances beyond my control, we will not have a Den Meeting tonight, 3/16/2010, before the Pack Meeting.

Please remember that scouts should wear their Class A Uniforms tonight.

I will set up a Den Meeting before April so the scouts can share their acheivements, electives, and belt loop activities and then build their rocket.

See you all tonight!

Upcoming Events

We had a great time on Saturday at the Home Depot Workshop. Thanks to Matt Lawson for setting this up. I also want to thank Den 10 for joining us and taking these wonderful pictures.
David Janes, Cub Master is planning a Rocket Launch this month and has tentatively scheduled May 21st as the launch day. I have a model Rocket for the Den that the scouts will need to put together and decorate. In addition, I have another launcher pad and if you want to purchase and build your own rocket, please feel free to do so. We will try to add it to the launch roster on launch day. In order to get our rocket ready to go, we will meet at Garrison Mill under the covered playground before the Pack Meeting to put it together. Does anyone have an old folding card table they could bring to build our Alpha III Rocket on?

Den 11 March Event to Home Depot Workshop

This Saturday is the next Home Depot Workshop, to make a Rain Gauge! It is from 9am-Noon, and is on the 1st Saturday of each Month. We are going to plan to meet at the Home Depot on Woodstock Road, on 92, whch is across from Publix, near Kohls, etc..

We can meet at 9am. If you dont find us, just ask the Home Depot folks where the Workshop is. There is nothing to bring!
